Going to spend the evening with the girls yesterday. It was a gathering of three (!) Tiinas! It was fun guessing who was talking to who: "Hey, Tiina..." One Tiina had prepared different kinds of unbelievable tasty Indian vegetarian foods for us which we enjoyed with white and red wines. Thanks Tiina!
And the queen has been lately into super soft fabrics. For some reason they are interesting me right now. I created another soft lolita apron.
There is something in the softness, like when it has been snowing a lot, the borders soften, the angles become rounded and everything becomes sliding.
-Mirror, mirror on the wall, who's the fairest of them all?
-Snow White is.

-But...are you sure?
-Yes, I am absolutely sure. And stop asking me that stupid question! Don't you have anything better to do?
-All right then, calm down! Let it be Snow White then. Good for her! And good for the seven dwarfs too! I couldn't care less. I will not ask it from you anymore.
Besides, this is Wonderland. I can be what ever I want to be!

Hello again, Sweetie pies! How are You on this Sunday? I hope You are just fine. The queen is feeling fine. She created a super soft lolita style apron for winter use.
This fabric was originally a super soft children's blanket. Milk jugs, mini ladies, tea pots and oh...I always thought they were cherries, but in this picture they look clearly apples. Whatever, Nemo has got so many nice baby blankets, so I can sacrifice this one for my use.
This was actually very easy to make. I never use any formula when I sew. I just estimate with my eye and cut and sew. So here it is.
The leftover pieces of fabric are just fine for the hair.

Yesterday was V-Day, which refers besides the Valentine's Day also to the global movement to end violence against women and girls. So I went to see The Vagina Monologues, which is the cornerstone of the V-day movement. The performers were besides actresses, also Finnish celebrities and influential persons. It was performed at the Koko Theater. The day reminded me about an art exhibition some years ago in the Tennis Palace's Art Museum. There was a giant vagina created by an artist Mimosa Pale (sic! I learned during the yesterday's play that mimosa is one nickname for a vagina!). So here it is, the giant art vagina. After the exhibition Mimosa Pale has walked with the giant vagina (it is on wheels) around the streets of Helsinki and has had varying reactions.
